Knowing And Living In God's Presence
I believe that God’s Holy Spirit calls upon each and every one of us to come unto God. And when we make a commitment to follow Jesus Christ, by asking His forgiveness of our sins, accepting by faith who He really is and understanding what He did in total, perfect, and unconditional love was for everyone of us ... therefore we must strive to live in our new found freedom from bondage, turn away from sin, from selfishness, from everything that oppresses our spirit and hinders our growth. We are challenged, and we are tested, always sifted and renewed in a daily walk with our Lord.
Jesus doesn't ask us to follow a list of steps in order to have a personel relationship with Him. We don't need to go through required rituals. He keeps it pretty simple. All He asks is that we love Him and follow Him. We make it complicated if we impose rules on ourselves and others.
In God's presence may you find and experience a fresh insight, a new understanding, a special promise brought to your remembrance, a timely word of hope or comfort ... a sweet sense of Jesus' presence. All of these things and more are like sunbeams of God's incredible love shining through the window of your heart.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
