 
Strength for the Journey
† Come, follow Me, { Jesus said } , and I will make you fishers of men. †

He will provide all the nourishment, encouragement, and the strength you need for your journey. † I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. † ~ Philippians 4:13 † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † What it Means to be ChristianBeing a Christian is far more than just an instantaneous conversion. It is a very deeply felt conditioning of our hearts.
It is a daily process, whereby as we grow in our personal unique relationship with Jesus, we are to become more like Christ Himself in how we relate to each other and in how we are to show and share Him with everyone. Jesus is ~ the standard of measurement, the scale of weights, and the test of character for the whole moral universe.. † If then there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy, by thinking the same way, having the same love, sharing the same feelings. focusing on one goal. Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. † ~ Philippians 2:1-4 Celebrate Jesus Christ by sharing God's most perfect and precious gift with everyone. Jesus is the gift of Faith, Hope, Peace, and Love all in one package. We all need Jesus now more than ever in this world and in our personal lives. He is our Lord and Savior, our Shepherd and our Life everlasting. He is my very best friend and He can be yours too. JESUS is a Faithful Friend
Jesus is utterly faithful. Whatever He says He will do, He does. You can count on His promises. His commitment to you is lasting. All that Jesus is, He will always be. His friendship never changes. Jesus will be with us for all eternity. He has built us a heavenly home and will live with us forever.. Oh what a friend we have in JESUS \0/ AMEN !!

My Personal TestimonyIn Oct. 1987, on a mountain top, sitting above a waterfall on a most beautiful and perfect Autumn day. I cried out to God to Please Help Me ! ~ I was very broken and felt hopeless and so very alone and lost. I cried until no more tears would come...
At that moment I was surrounded by the most cool and refreshing breeze that like a whirlwind came out of nowhere surrounding me ~ blowing and bending the trees with a soft groaning murmur.. On that day I opened my heart fully and Jesus moved in. I am a child of God. In full faith, I have put all my hope, and trust in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as He leads me on my own and unique personal journey living for and in Him. He walks with me every step of the way and though I will stumble many times, He will pick me up and have me walking again. I am a work in progress. As I grow, let my motivation always be for His Glory and His Purpose for my life. " My statement of faith~ which comes from the strength of the indwelling soul inside me ~ the living and guiding Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. " I believe my life is in God's hands and keeping. I believe He has a plan and purpose for my life and that He is leading me in a path that will fulfill that plan and purpose. I believe it is a good plan, a right plan, and the best plan. I believe there is not a better, higher, or wiser way for me to live or way for me to follow. I believe God knows exactly what He is doing and that He will bring things into my life at the exact time they are needed ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Remember: Jesus loves 'all' God's children
We are all God's children. Brothers and sisters, always and forever bonded, we are one family in the body of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we fellowship together, sharing His love with each other, may we grow to become Friends in Christ.
